On Friday 7th November, the tech-house phenomenon that is PAWSA will return to Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE JBR, to headline the third night of Pacha ICONS.
If you go to a tech-house club night and a PAWSA song isn’t played, you’re not in a good place. The Londoner has been a force in the tech-house scene for nearly a decade—DJing, producing and organising parties with his label, Solid Grooves, which was founded with friend and fellow producer Michael Bibi.
The intention behind the label was for the two producers to create something that takes over the tech-house scene. Despite being ever-present in the underground and evolving parts of the scene, recent tracks like “Dirty Cash (Money Talks)”, “Pick Up Your Phone” featuring Nate Dogg’ and “Too Cool To Be Careless” have shone on PAWSA’s meteoric rise. With these songs and more of his dominating the club scene, settling into the charts and breaking into the minds of partygoers, the legend of PAWSA is only growing.
Featuring on a prestigious line-up, including the likes of Carl Cox, Peggy Gou and Marco Carola (with whom he went B2B in his last appearance at the venue), PAWSA returns to Playa Pacha to deliver a mesmeric set as one of Pacha’s ICONS. The ICONS series assembles an international roster of talent, captivating ravers with a multi-genre scope of music and showcasing an Ibizan spirit for which Pacha is renowned.
The event is backdropped by the five-star hotel FIVE LUXE JBR, illuminated by fantastical projected displays that overlook a beautiful beach. Inspired by the appeal of its stunning location and its own legacy of party destination-making, the Pacha group has raised Playa Pacha with the intention of casting that very same spell.
