Kelis is living her best life in Africa.
As she prepares to turn 45 this month, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to shed more light on her wellness routine. Kelis shared the details in an Aug. 1 Instagram Reel, in which she donned a skintight animal-print bodysuit that showed off all her curves.
“I want to talk about wellness because I care about it,” she said in the video. “I’m about to be 45. Yup, I feel good, I look good. Ingredients matter. You guys know I talk about it all the time because I really care.”
The mother of three credited her physique to a simple formula of diet and exercise, as well as supplements from her wellness line, Bounty & Full. Kelis said she no longer consumes refined sugar and exclusively uses her own natural sweetener, which consists of yacon, dates, and lucuma.
“It’s just bomb — super good, organic, healthy,” she said about the sweetener. “You guys can go to my website and get it. I’ve been taking my own protein. I work out every day, I’m walking.”
Kelis confirmed she was still residing in Kenya, which has made healthy eating much easier.
“There’s no such thing as fast food [here],” she said. “Even if it looks like fast food, it takes forever because they’re actually cooking, which is so much better. But I feel like I don’t diet. I just eat really well. It is a lifestyle. I take my brain food every single day, I drink my protein every single day...”
Kelis expanded on her diet in fitness in the Instagram caption, saying she also uses the Bounty & Full beauty line, specifically the skin food to fight off wrinkles and hair food to maintain a healthy scalp.
To no one’s surprise, Kelis’ wellness update was met with countless compliments and thirst comments.
“It’s like if Curvy Rockstar Barbie had a baby with Wolfgang puck,” one user wrote, “and Jessica Rabbit had a baby with Dr. Sebi and then those two had a baby, except with superior tribe of Judah bloodline and unmatched beauty and voilà = Kelis.”
“Don’t make no sense how fine this woman is,” one fan commented before another added, “That milkshake still brings all the boys to the yard! Purrrr.”
