Kelis and Bill Murray Rumored to Be Dating and Twitter Can't Handle It

The singer and comedian reportedly sparked romance rumors when Murray attended Kelis' show in South London.

Kelis purportedly has a new man in her life.

The US Sun tabloid claims the 43-year-old artist is now dating 72-year-old Bill Murray. The unlikely duo sparked romance rumors earlier this month when the Ghostbusters star was spotted at Kelis’ Mighty Hoopla performance in South London.

Children of Zeus member Konny Kon also shared a photo with the two on May 30, and the image is now making the rounds far and wide:

A Sun source alleged that the two met in the U.S. and have been “getting close for a while.” Bill Murray has reportedly attended multiple Kelis concerts and been seen with her at a hotel. “Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap,” the insider claimed.

Kelis lost her husband Mike Mora to cancer at the age of 37 last year.

Neither the singer nor Murray have commented. Twitter users, on the other hand, have.

Murray’s first wife was Marget Kelly, the mother of his two oldest sons. The couple called it quits in 1996 after 15 years of marriage. A year after the divorce, Murray—who most recently appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania—tied the knot with Jennifer Butler, with whom he shares four sons. Butler filed for separation in the spring of 2008 and the divorce was finalized months later.

Kelis married Nas in 2005 and filed for divorce more than four years later. The divorce was finalized in May 2010, months after Kelis had given birth to her first child. She would go on to marry Mike Mora in 2014 and welcome her second son a year later. The two had a daughter in 2020, about a year before Mora announced his ultimately fatal cancer diagnosis.
