Fred Again.. is keeping fans fed. On Friday, Jan. 23, the British DJ/record producer released his much-anticipated track “Scared,” featuring Young Thug. Fred Again.. teased the collaborative cut in late 2025, when he dropped a preview on his Twitch stream from Vancouver.

Fred Again.. continued to build anticipation earlier this month, playing the Thugger-assisted cut during a performance at New York’s East End Studios.

“Only women working for me and you hate that shit,” Thug rapped over the atmospheric beat. “Someone bought her the same Rollie, now you hate that bitch/I just want a great performance off my emphasis I wanna love you, don't be scared, baby.”

You can stream “Scared” now on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.

The track arrived fresh off Fred Again..’s 10 Weeks, 10 Sings, 10 Cities, in support of his infinite compilation album, USB. The project’s second installment, USB002, included contributions from Danny Brown, Skepta, Blanco, Sammy Virji), Caribou, Floating Points, and Paco Amoroso.

Fred Again.. spoke about the USB concept during a sit-down with self-proclaimed “professional music fan” Derrick Gee, who questioned if Fred Again.. would ever release another standalone album.

“I just want it to go forever,” the DJ said about USB. “That’s what I like about it. What do you call that? It’s just like an ever-evolving record, I guess… It’s liberating to make music and know that there’s a this place I can put it that’s context-led. I don’t have to deep it as much as the albums.”

Back in September, Thug blessed fans with UY SCUTI, his first studio album since his 2024 release from jail. The project spanned 21 tracks with appearances by Cardi B, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Baby, and more.
