Premiere: W1ZZY Links Up With K-Trap For New Drop “More Than Rhymes”

Visuals directed by Kaylum Dennis.

UK rap newbie W1ZZY is making all the right noise right now. Fresh from his star turn on Flashy Sillah & Groundworks’ compilation project, The Block Report Vol. 1, and shelling down a few freestyle platforms along the way, the West London rapper returns with visuals for the K-Trap-assisted “More Than Rhymes”, the third drop from his upcoming mixtape, Voice Of The 6.

“With this track, I wanted to show my fans a different side to me,” W1ZZY told Complex UK. “It brings a different energy and vibe because it’s faster-paced than my usual sound. When it comes to music, a lot of relationships are strictly industry-based, but me and K-Trap have a genuine one outside of music, so working together on this felt natural. This being my first feature, it was a no-brainer: I had to get him to bless it for me.” And bless it he did: drill don K-Trap slides in with his trademark monotone cadence and choppy flow, complementing W1ZZY’s matter-of-fact rhyme schemes on a track that has all the makings of a new street anthem for 2026.

As for the 12-track Voice Of The 6 mixtape, expect more street wisdom and introspection from W1ZZY, underpinned by hard-hitting production from Carns Hill, M1OnTheBeat, Michelin Shin and more; rappers Blade Brown, Youngs Teflon and Rimzee will also feature.

“I feel like I took more risks with this project,” says W1ZZY, “especially when it came to trying new things creatively. I’m still bringing that raw authenticity my listeners connect with, but I’ve pushed myself further this time around and I think people are going to hear that in the music.”
