It appears Wizkid has thrown a veiled shot at Burna Boy by posting an image of a bottle of baby oil on the platform formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday.
Minutes before posting the baby oil bottle photo, Wizkid sent out a message, mentioning his issue regarding someone who was accompanied by 10 men when he jumped a DJ. There are also two instances where Wizkid alleges this unnamed person, presumably Burna Boy, having ties to Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to Capital XTRA, DJ Tunez, the personal DJ for Wizkid, was performing at Obi’s House in Nigeria when he was unexpectedly attacked by Burna Boy.
In a series of posts on X on Tuesday (April 7), DJ Tunez shared his account of the incident, alleging he was struck “in the back of my head without me looking.” The Nigerian DJ also called Burna Boy “all signs of weakness,” a twist on his 2025 album No Sign of Weakness.
Aside from DJ Tunez being his own DJ, Wizkid seemingly confirmed that he was talking about Burna Boy, given the specific alleged detail about being outnumbered “1 VS 10,” as he described it.
Burna Boy seemingly responded to the altercation by appearing in a friend’s Snapchat post, dancing in a towel to DJ Tunez’s song “Money Constant” before intentionally falling to the ground.
While several recorded interactions between Burna Boy and Combs would lead one to believe they were good friends, Wizkid is suggesting that their relationship was more than meets the eye by calling him “diddy babe.” None of this is proven to be true.
Wizkid took it a step further with the image of baby oil, which has become culturally synonymous with Combs after several bottles were found during a raid of his home and hotel room.
It’s unclear what set off the physical altercation between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez.
Burna Boy has denied DJ Tunez’s account while speaking with Shallipopi on Instagram Live.
