Waka Flocka Flame and his entourage were reportedly told to leave the Montauk venue Surf Lodge on Sunday following a tense exchange with the staff.
Sources tell Page Six that Waka and his crew, consisting of 14 people, tried to get into the restaurant and club through a side entrance, while fire marshals were holding back a crowd from the main entrance. Waka was allegedly set off when a security guard told him that he and his entourage could not use the side entrance.
"Waka berated the guard," an insider told Page Six. "He was saying, 'Go fuck yourself, you're a dick.' He said 'fuck' a thousand times."
When another security guard stepped in, someone from the rapper's entourage allegedly said, "Your size doesn’t intimidate us."
Even after the altercation, Waka and his crew were not only allowed entry into Surf Lodge, but managers reportedly tried to reason with the group, explaining that the security guards were simply doing their job. The rapper was not buying the explanation, and decided to confront the security guards once again.
"He stormed back outside to continue yelling at the guard," the source said.
An insider alleges a member of Waka's crew shouted a homophobic slur during their exchange.
Despite everything that had allegedly occurred, managers still tried to resolve the issue with Waka, but he was reportedly still upset. "I'm worth $20 million. Do you know who I am?" he allegedly said.
That was the final straw for the Surf Lodge staff, who asked Waka and his entourage to leave.
"The whole thing happened quickly, under three minutes," said the source, who reported that an invite to the Surf Lodge was extended to Waka following his performance at the nearby Bounce Beach Club the night before.
