Slim Jxmmi continued his eventful weekend by engaging in a back-and-forth over social media Sunday with Trippie Redd. Their war of words started when Trippie responded to Jxmmi's claim that Rae Sremmurd was "a wrap" in a series of tweets that have since been deleted. "He finally realized we only listen to swae parts lmao," Redd jokingly responded to a post from DJ Akademiks regarding the alleged split.
Jxmmi refused to let Trippie get the last word, warning him to "stay in a child’s place," and called him "Swae offspring."
These two took their feud to Instagram where Trippie poured fuel on the fire, calling his "music trash" and "he a b*tch."
If there's anything that can unite Rae Sremmurd in their state of limbo, it's a conflict with a common foe, and it appears Trippie has unknowingly volunteered himself as a tribute. As Sremmurd's Twitter account states in their attempt to dispel rumors of the duo disbanding, there may have been a rough patch in their artistic relationship, but they will always be brothers.
