Meek Mill took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday, looking for a way to contest the amount of taxes he owed to the IRS over a decade ago.

Meek revealed he paid $2.8 million in taxes in 2013, even though he allegedly only made $2 million. "How do I fight that?," he asked, adding, "I been paying my taxes since I was 23 years old ... paying damn near 3m out your account randomly is stressful!"

Meek followed that up with another post asserting that there is no way he owes that sum, given how much he made that year.

Many people suggested Meek seek advice from an accountant, instead of social media.

Others actually tried to help him out, pointing to possible penalties and/or back taxes.

In other Meek Mill-related news, the Philly rapper chimed in on Elon Musk allegedly having his 13th child earlier this month. "No way I’m letting Elon musk have more baby mothers than me lol,” he wrote in response to the claim that the SpaceX founder now has over a dozen kids with four women.
