Max B continues to stir the pot in his one-sided feud with Big Daddy Kane, even though Fat Joe and Tony Yayo have publicly come out in defense of the legendary rapper.
In a video posted by Gillie da Kid, Max B claimed he loved Kane until his third studio album Taste of Chocolate, eventually feeling let down when the rapper posed nude for Playgirl in the 90s.
“That’s not wavy, baby,” he said, adding, “Sexual chocolate. I’m on your ass!”
On the latest episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Max B was asked where he would place himself on a list of the greatest New York rappers of all-time. After giving it some thought, the Wave God placed himself behind The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z and Nas, which faced immediate opposition from Wallo, who brought up Big Daddy Kane and Rakim.
Max B appeared to show respect for those two legends, but seemed adamant that he’s better than Kane, saying, “That n**** can’t sing and fuck with these hoes like me and make it look like me.”
Since then, Tony Yayo spoke out on The Real Report about Max B’s remarks, advising him to “stay humble.”
Fat Joe delivered a message to Max B on Instagram Live, saying you cannot disrespect legends like Big Daddy Kane. “You can’t downplay the man’s contribution to hip-hop,” he said. “Max B, my man, don’t get it fucked up.”
