Cuban Violinist Duo Tania & Abraham Sign Deal with Roc Nation Distribution

Tania & Abraham commemorate the signing with the release of their new single "Óshun Yesá."

The Cuban violinist duo Tania & Abraham released their new single "Óshun Yesá" on Monday, in conjunction with the announcement of their signing to Roc Nation Distribution.

Produced by Cool & Dre, "Óshun Yesá" also features contributions from Lil Uzi Vert. Check it out up top.

After discovering Tania Gomez and Abraham Rivero at a funeral, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez inked the duo to a deal that makes them the first classically trained violinists to release music through the label.

"Tania and Abraham's style of music represent voices rarely heard on a global stage," Perez said in a statement. "When I first heard them playing a funeral, it resonated so strongly with me because it was just so beautiful and powerful. I love the way their sound transforms tradition into timeless music, so it's truly an honor to bring their art to the forefront and highlight their unique talents."

Perez tapped Cool & Dre and Uzi to work with Tania & Abraham on "Óshun Yesá," which honors Oshún, the Yorùbá goddess of love, fertility, and rivers.
