Wet Drops a Brand New Video for "Weak"

The video was directed by Holly Blakey who has worked with Jungle, Florence And The Machine and Jessie Ware.

There's a reason I like to describe Wet's music as poignant pop. Their minimalist approach and delicate pluck of electronics make it nearly impossible not to melt into their woozy pool of sparse vocals that ebb and flow against the ingrained pop formula. That case is no less true in their most recent offering "Weak." Today, their R&B-tinged ballad gets it's visual accompaniment courtesy of director Holly Blakey who has done videos for Jungle as well as choreographed moves for Florence And The Machine and Jessie Ware.

The resulting video is a gorgeous display of emotion with a theme as simple and startling as the song that stars Wet lead singer Kelly Zutrau. Watch the video for "Weak" above and stream it on Spotify or iTunes. Wet's new album Don't You drops Jan. 29 on Columbia.
