Sony Reportedly Wants To Sign Harry Styles To A Solo Deal

With One Direction announcing a break, the popular member is prime to breakout solo.

In the wake of breakup rumors surroundingOne Direction, it's now being reported that music giant Sony is courting member Harry Styles for a "mega solo deal." The company's top executives (which already has the singer on their books through Simon Cowell's Syco Label) are determined to make Harry's solo material a top priority for 2016. In addition, industry heavyweight Irving Azoff has reportedly been giving advice to the singer for well over a year as he is close friend's with his son Jeff Azoff.

While the members have not addressed any of the solo project rumors, the band has confirmed that a new album is in the works which Niall took to Twitter to confirm.

Until more news arrives, you can catch One Direction touring through October with their fifth studio album (and first without former member Zayn Malik) featuring their latest record-smashing hit "Drag Me Down" due out this November according to Billboard.
