Metro Boomin Goes the Mellow Route With Smooth New Song "Forever Young"

Metro Boomin comes through today with the solo track "Forever Young."

The song is the latest release from Adult Swim's singles project and finds Metro showcasing his production skills with a warbling instrumental that offers a mellowed out new side to his music.

Fresh off the release of their videos for "Feel It" and "No Heart," Metro Boomin and 21 Savage will be performing in NYC this Friday, Nov. 4 at the Playstation Theater as part of the Young Metro Don't Trust Trump Concert. "With the election coming, I think it's time to speak out, and not like speak out by getting extra political with this shit, but let people know," Metro told Complex. "So letting y'all know I don't trust him, you don't trust him and go ahead and celebrate that. And also, people love coming to concerts and coming together, though at the same time it's not all about that, but sharing the message and the same view. With it so close to the election, I thought, let's have this concert and celebrate this and all agree that we can't have this guy as our president."

All proceeds from the show will be donated to create a college scholarship fund that will send a graduating high school senior from the St. Louis area to Morehouse College in Atlanta. Even better, Complex is giving away a pair of tickets to the show.
