Lupe Fiasco has apparently canceled his new album and quit music. The news comes after the rapper dropped a new song Monday that resulted in him being slammed for spreading an anti-Semitic message.

Lupe rapped over J. Cole's "Everybody Dies" track for his new release, "N.E.R.D." On the freestyle, he raps, "Artists gettin' robbed for their publishing/By dirty Jewish execs who think that it's alms from the covenant."

Twitter began to go at the rapper as he tried to defend himself in a series of tweets. "Its some upright moral Jewish execs in this biz and some low down dirty awful motherfuckers that would sell they mother into slavery. Shrug," read one tweet. Another person pressed the rapper as to why their religion is relevant to cheating artists to which he replied, "Because in my case they were Jewish." He continued to ask his followers how his lyrics were anti-semitic.

Tuesday morning, Lupe jumped on Twitter to tell share a message with fans. "Yo Lupe fans it's been fun and I hope you've had fun. I'm officially not releasing anymore music. Albums cancelled," he wrote before setting his Twitter and Instagram accounts to private. "Getting beat up for telling the truth is now how I plan on spending the rest of my life." He also alleged that his track had been removed from SoundCloud due to "hate speech," but it appears to still be streaming on the service here.
