Following an incredible set at Afropunk Fest in Atlanta last week, Kelela stopped by Zane Lowe'sBeats 1 show to debut her new song "Rewind." Premiered as the DJ's #hottestrecord, the song is the third track off the R&B singer's forthcoming Hallucinogen EP that she described to New York Magazine "a departure from what you heard on the mixtape [Cut 4 Me]. It's glossy, and it's more hip-hop based."
While the EP was originally due out earlier this year, Kelela explained "It's just not there yet, for me." Listen to "Rewind" below and look for Hallucinogen to drop October 9 on Cherry Coffee / Warp (pre-order here).
