Kesha's mom, Pebe Sebert, claims that producer Dr. Luke is attempting to blackmail her. In a series of tweets, the singer's mom unloads her frustration. “Dr Luke is trying to BLACKMAIL ME, into taking my name off ‘Timber’ as a songwriter, by blocking all 16 writers from being paid,” Sebert writes. “NOW, 2 years since TIMBER was a hit, my punishment for ‘TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM’, is to be responsible for everyone not being paid!”
Kesha has been in a lengthy legal battle with Dr. Luke for over a year now. Most recently, Kesha petitioned the court so that she could record music with other producers while this legal matter played out. After a recent delay, the hearing is now scheduled for Feb. 19 in New York City. You can read all the tweet's from Kesha's mom below. Dr. Luke has yet to respond to the claims.
