Kesha's mom, Pebe Sebert, claims that producer Dr. Luke is attempting to blackmail her. In a series of tweets, the singer's mom unloads her frustration. “Dr Luke is trying to BLACKMAIL ME, into taking my name off ‘Timber’ as a songwriter, by blocking all 16 writers from being paid,” Sebert writes. “NOW, 2 years since TIMBER was a hit, my punishment for ‘TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM’, is to be responsible for everyone not being paid!”
Kesha has been in a lengthy legal battle with Dr. Luke for over a year now. Most recently, Kesha petitioned the court so that she could record music with other producers while this legal matter played out.
