It's been a while since Justin Timberlake has hit the Billboard Hot 100, but the singer returns to the No. 1 spot on the chart this week with his new single, "Can't Stop the Feeling." The song marks Timberlake's first No. 1 hit in nine years and also marks the first time that he's debuted at the top spot.

"Can't Stop the Feeling" is the first taste of new music from Timberlake since he released part two of The 20/20 Experience back in 2013. The song is part of the soundtrack to the upcoming DreamWorks film, Trolls, which he is executive producing. Timberlake will also be contributing to the soundtrack to the upcoming film, which is due out on Nov. 4. He recently performed the song for the first time at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Timberlake taking over the No. 1 spot also dethrones Drake's "One Dance," which hit No. 1 last week and marked the first time that he's held the spot as a solo artist. Drake has shot a video for "One Dance," so there's probably a good chance that he could return to No. 1 eventually.

Meanwhile, Rihanna's "Needed Me" jumps from No. 13 to No. 10, giving her her 29th career top 10 hit. She has now tied Michael Jackson for the third most top-10 songs of all-time on the chart. Only Madonna and the Beatles have more top 10s with 38 and 34, respectively. You can read the rest of this week's Hot 100 news here.
