Plus an update on an old song they reworked, too.

Radiohead is currently in the studio working on a new album and guitarist Jonny Greenwood is sharing some updates in an interview with Dutch music website 3voor12 that has just come to light and been translated by Consequence of Sound.

Discussing the band's effort to create a new album for the first time since 2011's The King of Limbs, Jonny explained "We didn't do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time." However, he did reveal that there will be a very old song on the upcoming album that they have reworked (as there has been on every album prior including "Nude" on 2007's In Rainbows). The next oldie but goodie song is titled "Lift" and dates back to 1996: "We never found the right arrangement for ['Nude'], until then. 'Lift' is just like that. When the idea is right, it stays right. It doesn't really matter in which form."

Watch Radiohead perform "Lift" live at 1996's Pinkpop Festival below and read the whole translated interview courtesy of Consequence of Sound here.
