UPDATE: 2/9/16: The day-by-day lineup for Governors Ball 2016 has been revealed. Kanye West will headline Sunday night, with the other two main acts, the Strokes and the Killers, headlining Friday and Saturday, respectively. A special offer for pre-sales for single day general admission and VIP tickets is available now for Citi Cardmembers. The official lineup for the 2016 Governors Ball festival in New York City has been released and it's stacked. Kanye West, the Strokes, and the Killers are set to headline this year and follow 2015's headlining trio of Drake, Deadmau5, and the Black Keys.
This won't be Kanye's first Governors Ball appearance, either. If you remember, he played the fest back in 2013 where he debuted three new songs. News of him headlining this year can only mean good news for the release of SWISH. Mac Miller, Miguel, Death Cab for Cutie, Vince Staples, and Jamie xx are also set to perform at the annual June event that takes place June 3-5.
Check out this year's full lineup in the flyer above, which was designed by DONDA, the creative agency founded by Kanye West. VIP tickets for the festival are available now on Governor Ball's website. Look out for information on GA passes and more to arrive in the coming months.
