Earlier this year, El-Prevealed that Run the Jewels 3 wouldn't be released this year, but promised fans he and Killer Mike were working hard on it. Sharing some good news, El-P took to Instagram to share a clip of a new song with the caption reading "RTJ3 is just getting started." He also reached out to fans on Twitter writing, "we literally just got off tour. we probably have to produce, write, record, mix and master RTJ3 before it comes out."
While the album doesn't have a release date yet, the post is a good sign that it will be coming next year. A 2016 release date would follow the duo's history of releasing one project per year. If you remember, Run the Jewels was released in 2013, Run the Jewels 2 in 2014, and their remix album Meow the Jewels arrived in 2015. Listen to the new clip below.
