Camryn Magness was a rising singer who toured with top bands like One Direction and Fifth Harmony.

Her potential and life came to an abrupt halt when she died in an electric scooter tragedy. TMZ confirmed with her family that Magness "died after being hit while riding an electric scooter in Miami, Florida." She was only 26 years old. People reported that Magness died on December 5, also noting that the rising musician "was fatally struck while riding an electric scooter."

A post on Magness's Instagram page also confirmed her death. It was accompanied by a video of her scuba diving.

"Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Camryn, a radiant force whose voice, coy, and bright spirit touched so many," the December 10 post reads. "Whether beneath the waves or on stage, she met life with fearless energy and boundless kindness. In the quiet between waves, her memory will surface—bright, bold, unforgotten. Rest in endless blue, our sweet girl. You are deeply loved and forever cherished."

The post concluded: "Please keep her family and friends in prayer as they navigate this difficult time. Camryn will live on in our hearts forever 💙"

Just days before her death, the singer posted a photo showing her holding a dog on a sofa.

In November, she wrote, "If everyone is in full prep mode like me 😅 good look! I hope you all have sweet Thanksgiving tomorrow. I’m beyond grateful for everyone in my life! Love you guys 🫶🏻"

In 2012, she got some buzz in Teen Vogue, which wrote, "Named as Billboard's 'Bubbling Under' artist and having gone on tour with Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, and One Direction, Camryn is one to keep an eye on."

Her song "Now or Never" was getting some traction then. "The song is basically about saying, 'You know what, we don't know about tomorrow, so it's now or never. Let's make this happen,'" she told Teen Vogue.

Magness's obituary says she "was a vibrant, fearless, and deeply loved young woman whose compassion, humor, and bright spirit touched every person blessed to know her. A gifted performer, Camryn's voice and music were extensions of her soul. Whether she was on a stage, at a family gathering, or sharing a song with someone who needed it, Camryn's music was a reflection of her heart, her courage, and her endless creativity."

It adds: "She was engaged to the love of her life, Christian Name."
