Two years on from their chart-conquering debut mixtape, Plead The 5th, Nottingham duo Young T & Bugsey have made a triumphant return with their follow-up, Truth Be Told.
Truth Be Told serves up 15 tracks of the kind of Afro-inspired rap that they’ve been expanding on since 2018’s “Greenlight”, but this time they’ve gone a little harder on the rap side of things. They still have plenty of hooks and party-ready grooves, but this should silence anyone doubting their rhyming credentials.
