A new festival called Rhythm + Waves is hitting Portugal’s Algarve coastline in 2026.

Headliners for the festival are Gunna, Ken Carson, Chase & Status, D-Block Europe and special guest A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Taking place across June 27 and 28 next year, the festival strikes an even balance between rap and dance music, splitting them across three stages.

The Wake Stage will feature a rap-focused line-up, including Lancey Foux, Destroy Lonely, Morad, Gazo and more. Meanwhile, on the D&B/bass-focused Centre East Stage, they’ve booked DJ EZ, Hybrid Minds, Andy C, SHERELLE, Skream (140 set) and Flava D B2B Arthi. And on the Centre West Stage, curated by NeoPop, it will be a house and techno takeover.

Wet Bed Gang, Cabelinho, Chefin, Camo & Krooked B2B Bou, La Mano 1.9 and MC Rodrigo Do CN are also set to perform, along with over 30 more artists still to be announced.

Rhythm + Waves is where the world’s biggest sounds unite on one of Europe's most breathtaking beaches,” the organisers said in a statement. “A next-generation festival spanning rap, bass, house, techno and drum & bass, all on 100 percent sand, framed by ocean views, and powered by world-class production. Set across 27 and 28 June, 2026, on Praia da Rocha in Portimão, the Algarve, the festival blends the energy of a major music event with the freedom of a summer escape.”

Pre-sale tickets will be available from December 3 at 10am (here), with general sale tickets available from December 4.
