Premiere: Projexx Blends Afrobeats And Dancehall On New Scorcher “Sweat”

A high-intensity jam for the summer.

Jamaica-born, Miami-based Projexx is on the rise. Descended from dancehall royalty (his grandfather is none other than “Under Me Sleng Teng” architect King Jammy), his new-gen approach blends in elements of Afrobeats, trap and more while still keeping the spirit intact.

The latest outing from Projexx is “Sweat”, a hot-blooded banger that puts his signature sound front and centre. Combining the production talents of P2J and Cadenza, this one’s built for big bass bins and will no doubt do very well at carnivals across the world this year.

Alongside the new track, Projexx has also dropped off a fresh set of visuals. Directed by Daniel Eguren, the video is just as hot, physical and, well, sweaty as the track itself.
