Over the last couple of years, Nino Uptown has built considerable momentum with his tireless release schedule.
Tracks like “Lose Me” and “Who Said Goons Don’t Cry” (among many others) caused a real stir and now, barely two months since his last release, “Gotham”, he’s back to keep the fire burning with new single “How High?”. It’s another surefire winner for fans of his wave heaters. Buckroll Beats produces, placing a mellow trap beat and warming sax line behind setting Nino’s almost rhymes about the escalating pressures of success and the toll it takes.
For the Don Prod-directed video, Nino in placed a warehouse space with a mic for company and later joined by a sax player to take him to the finish line. Uncluttered by bravado or swagger, it feels like a slate has been cleaned ahead of a big year for the rising star.
