Ty Dolla Sign says he "forgives" Ye after the artist formerly known as Kanye West made an apology to the Jewish community.

Ye sat with Rabbi Yoshiayao Yosef Pinto in an Instagram reel posted earlier this week to express remorse for his controversial antisemitic remarks over the past few years.

In the clip below, the 24-time Grammy winner pointed at his bipolar disorder as a partial reason for voicing "extreme" comments and called his apology "first steps" in reestablishing his public persona.

Ty acknowledged Ye's apology during a stream on Friday (Nov. 7) while answering a fan question, saying the "accountability" is what matters.

"If he apologized, man, you gotta take it serious, man," Ty replied. "I'm a forgiving type of motherfucker. N***as done did foul shit, n***as done did foul shit... You know what, man? After awhile it's like, I forgive a n***a for talking."

He continued, "God forgives, bro, so we should all forgive. You can't be holding shit over people forever. If he wants to take accountability, he took accountability, forgive him. I forgive him."

The response was a far cry from when Ty shut down a question about his relationship with Ye during an interview with Complex's Jordan Rose last month.

As ¥$, Ye and Ty have released two collaborative albums, Vultures 1 and 2, both released last year. The Yeezy founder could be gearing up to release the long-awaited Bully on DSPs after he showed up for a surprise performance with Travis Scott in Japan on Saturday (Nov. 8).
