T.I. says he had to do a double take after seeing a balding man who resembled him in a recent viral video.

The rapper stopped by Yung Joc & The Streetz Morning Takeover radio show this week, and he was asked to clarify whether the man in the TikTok was him.

The video was posted last week by TikToker @nc_tyrone, and a text over the clip read, "Someone tell T.I. it's time to let it go."

The clip showed a person onstage and wearing a fedora. After the man took the hat off and turned around, it appeared that his crown was balding.

"Look like a lot of his hair didn’t make the trip and stayed in BANKHEAD," the caption read.

But while on the Atlanta radio program, the "About the Money" rapper showed up with a full head of hair and denied that the man in the viral video was him.

"The devil is a lie," T.I. said in response to the jokes, adding "I never lie."

On how he reacted after seeing the video, T.I. added, "I went to the mirror."

"It's comedy. I laughed," he continued. "It wouldn't be funny if it were true. ... I ain't even respond to it, I just took my hat off and walked around."

T.I. added that in "this age of technology," people depend on viral clips to get the "news," even if it's misleading.

"But you have to use discernment," he continued, adding that fans shouldn't imagine him "move around in the house, let alone on stage" while balding.

"And if that were true, then this ain't the person that I've grown to know," he continued.

Comedian and actor Druski recently joked about balding (or hatfishing) in a recent TikTok, clowning middle-aged men who struggle with hair loss.
