Houston rap legend Slim Thug came to the defense of Megan Thee Stallion four years after the 3-time Grammy winner was shot by rapper-singer Tory Lanez.

After watching Megan's new Prime Video documentary In Her Words, where she extensively recounts the July 2020 shooting and Lanez eventually being found guilty to three felonies, Slim went to Instagram Live on Friday, Nov. 1 to share his thoughts.

"You n***as oughta be ashamed of ya’ll self for hating on Thee Stallion. I wanted to give her a big a** hug after I watched that," Slim said in the clip below. "She been through a lot. Lost her daddy, lost her mama, best friend…a n***a she slept with shot at her."

Slim emphasized that he's not a "fan" of Lanez and shamed the Canadian artist for shooting Megan.

"It'll never make sense to pull a gun on a bitch. Period. I don't give a fuck what you n***as say," Slim continued. "If you pull a gun out on a girl, you are lame, and that’s just life. So we ain’t going with nothing else. If you believe he should be free over that weak-ass shit, you's a lame, let me be clear with you."

"I'm riding with the Hottie," Slim said, referring to Megan. "I got her back. Big Slim ready to give her a big hug and support her for the rest of whatever. All you lames, you been hating on a woman. You n***as is weird and deserved to be slapped in real life."

Fellow Houston rap veteran Bun B immediately defended Megan in the aftermath of the shooting, while other rappers and hip-hop media personalities — as seen in In Her Words — backed Lanez.

"Guys online say, 'You should have gotten shot in the head. He should have finished the job. He should have killed your ass. You’re always twerking, bitch, you deserved what you got,' Megan said at one point in the doc, per NBC News.

Alongside Houstonians Scarface, Paul Wall, Sauce Walka and more, Slim Thug made a cameo in Megan's recent music video for "Bigger In Texas."
