Rick Ross explained how he levels up the women that he dates in a recent episode of podcast BagFuel.
Fresh off his VERZUZ battle with French Montana, the rapper discussed his dating life with the BagFuel crew, including host DJ Clue. Rozay was last in a short-lived relationship with model and realtor Jazzma Kendrick, breaking up just months after going public. Before Kendrick, Ross dated Cristina Mackey from December 2023 to February 2024.
Around the 1:30-minute mark of the video below, Ross says he elevates his romantic partners because he’s a “boss.”
“I meet a chick. If I fuck with you, you deserve the boss, shorty. Come kick it with me,” the rapper explained.
“Everybody don't deserve to fuck with and have a long-term relationship. I don't know how n***s are,” he continued. “If we cool, we cool. And let's enjoy it. I ain't your enemy. But shorty, I’d never shit on you. I want to see you win.”
Ross added that he can’t “trust a lot” when it comes to women, but approaches women with “authenticity” so it’s rare that “games get played.”
“I get to know you, we become friends. I wish you nothing but the best,” he explained. “A month with me, 2 months with me could change your life forever, shorty.”
“And they understand that and they appreciate that. And majority of the time they'll do anything to keep that line of communication there.”
Ross, who has 5 children, also expressed hesitancy towards getting married, although he knows of men that will readily commit. The Renaissance of a Boss author also appeared on ABC News this week, where he explained that his lifestyle comes with women being inconvenienced.
“I'm sure you’ve got to wake up early in the morning at maybe 5:00 a.m., get your workout in before you come to work. I will be calling at 2:30. How you doing love?” he told anchor Linsey Davis.
