Less than a month after his unexpected death, the legacy of Rich Homie Quan lives on in Atlanta rap culture.

Just weeks after the rapper's Sept. 17 funeral and being posthumously honored with an official day in Atlanta, on Monday (Sept. 30), Quan's final music video, "Song Cry," was released. In addition to clips of Quan prior to his death, other scenes were pulled from his funeral and succeeding events, like his burial, dove release and family and friends performing his music.

Making cameos in the music video are Boosie BadAzz, D.C. Young Fly and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, who opens the video with a statement about Quan being among "Atlanta hip-hop royalty."

On Sept. 17, Quan was laid to rest following a memorial service at Church International in College Park, where the Atlanta City Council officiated Rich Homie Quan Day, as seen in the "Song Cry" video.

D.C., whom Quan was friends with and appeared on the comedian's 85 South Comedy Show podcast, assured the rapper's surviving family that he would continue to uplift Quan's name.

"Y'all gave us an icon, y'all gave us a legend," D.C. said at the funeral. "We're all on borrowed time. So the things that he accomplished while he was here we wanna let you know that we're gonna continue on his legacy, and even through the small amount of time he made a big impact."

On Sept. 5, Quan was found unresponsive at his home in Atlanta and rushed to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He was 33.
