Rashida Nicole believes her estranged husband, rapper LiAngelo Ball, lacks "accountability" regarding their breakup.
The influencer, who gave birth to her daughter with Ball last week, reacted to his recent comments about their relationship in an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday (December 10). The post came after the "Tweaker" rapper claimed that he was forced into marrying Nicole and regretted leaving his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Mudarris, whom he shares two children with.
"She drove me [to the courthouse], n***a. I'm out there about to cry in the whip," Ball recalled on the Tuesday (December 9) episode of his Ball in the Family podcast with Lonzo Ball. "I felt disconnected type shit. I'm telling her like, 'I don't want to get married, n***a. I don't want to do none of this shit.' But then I was like, 'I'm doing it though, n***a.' And I did not understand."
In Nicole's Instagram Story, she referred to Ball as a "clown."
"None of it makes sense," she continued. "He can never take accountability for nothing! No one forced a grown man to do anything! Just like I can't force him to be a dad #deadbeat."
After the birth of their daughter, Lilo Legacy Ball, Nicole posted multiple times about Ball not being present throughout her pregnancy but thanked and apologized to Mudarris for their previous tension. On Monday (December 8), Nicole also posted an Instagram Story claiming that Ball still hadn't met their newborn daughter.
In July, Ball filed for divorce just one week after Nicole announced that she was pregnant. The estranged couple got together rather quickly, as the rapper had broken up with Mudarris just one month before marrying Nicole at a Los Angeles courthouse.
Also on the recent episode of Ball in the Family, Ball shared his regrets of breaking up with Mudarris. "I told her that, though. Nikki called me. I told her straight up like, 'I was tweaking.' I ain't got no excuse for that shit or nothing," he said on the podcast.
