Pink Suggests She's Met Diddy 'In Passing,' Says There’s 'No Truth' to Her Wiping X Account Due to His Arrest

Rumors swirled that the pop singer deleted her X posts due to her connections to Diddy, which she cleared up on Instagram.

If you were thinking about accusing Pink of being in cahoots with Diddy, don't.

Last Monday (Sept. 16), Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested in New York on charges of racketeering and trafficking, with an unsealed indictment stating that he oversaw "Freak Off" parties. The alleged parties are said to have involved sex workers, that were subjected to demeaning acts with "a variety of controlled substances" being distributed, "in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant."

Those following the months of allegations surrounding Diddy immediately took to social media with their wildest conspiracy theories, even researching celebrities that have attended past Diddy parties. Some noticed that Diddy's former mentee, R&B singer Usher scrubbed his X account, along with singer Pink, although the latter wiped her page months ago.

On Wednesday (Sept. 25), the "Funhouse" artist took to Instagram, where she referenced her X, with a June 2 screenshot from the platform reading, "This account will self-destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!"

"I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on Feb. 6!!!" she wrote in the caption. "There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned."

Other celebrities who were previously acquaintances with Diddy have publicly distanced themselves from the music mogul, like Meek Mill, Dame Dash and 50 Cent, who's executive producing a Netflix docuseries on the disgraced artist.

Following his Sept. 16 arrest, Diddy has been twice denied bail and remains in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center until his trial begins.
