Ludacris goes back in time in the music video for his comeback single, “Pull Over.”
Replicating the animated styles of his memorable 2000s videos like “Stand Up” and “Number One Spot,” the rapper turns googly-eyed over a woman he drives by before being caught in random scenarios. One scene in the Dave Meyers and Cam Erickson-directed video shows the three-time Grammy winner having his signature afro trimmed by a chainsaw, while another shows Luda getting run over and flattened by a truck while he continues to rap.

Last month, Ludacris appeared on The Big Tigger Morning Show and detailed his belief that it’s “time for fun in music again.”
“What feels different is that when I stepped away, it was to get that perspective,” he told Big Tigger. “Sometimes you have to step back in order to become that fan again because the music industry as we all know, or have heard, you can get twisted in too much of the politics.”
He continued, “And so when you're able to take that step back, you have to realize what made you fall in love with it in the first place. And just being from that kid point of view, that's where I'm at.”
Also in April, Luda let fans in on the level of excitement he’s feeling about this new chapter.
“I feel like a new artist all over again,” he said.
