Lil Yachty looked to Kai Cenat to leak his Drake collaboration "Supersoak" after realizing that a sample wouldn't get cleared.

During his appearance on Andrew Schulz's Flagrant with Akaash Singh podcast, the Atlanta rapper discussed the unreleased song, which Cenat played on a recent stream. According to Yachty, the track couldn't have an official release because viral comic Mr. Hotspot wouldn't clear the sample.

"They're inevitable. I mean, they suck, but they're inevitable. What can you do?" the Concrete Boys head said about leaks around the 54-minute mark of the video below.

"I sent a song to Kai to leak. ... We couldn't get the sample cleared, so I just let Kai play it," he said.

When Schulz asked about the song's quality, Yachty dismissed it, saying, "Shit, it's still out there."

In regards to Mr. Hotspot, Yachty said that the comic "went down, like, a Christian path," and that they didn't even speak about compensation before the sample was turned down.

"I don't think we got into money; he was like, 'No,'" Yachty said about Hotspot's response.

While Mr. Hotspot has fallen out of the social media game, Cenat continues climbing up the ranks. The 22-year-old earned the No. 3 spot on Complex's 2024 Hip-Hop Media Power list.
