J. Cole might pop up to a parking lot near you with physical copies of The Fall-Off for sale.

The two-time Grammy winner dropped his seventh and possibly final album on Friday (Feb. 6) to high praise from his Dreamers fan base. Cole even showed up to an album listening event in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, surprising fans that didn’t know the rapper would be in attendance.

Continuing with the spirit of connecting with his fans in real life, on Saturday (Feb. 7), Cole thanked the Dreamers for their support and announced that he’d be selling CD versions of The Fall-Off straight from his car trunk.

“Yesterday I had daddy duties that came before album release celebrations,” he tweeted. “Today I got my old civic (with the brand new engine) a tour bus and some sprinters. In the trunk of my car is boxes of The Fall-Off CD’s.”

“As a teenager I had copies of the Fayettenam Bommuh’s album that Nervous gave me to sell,” Cole continued. “I used to go up to the gas stations trying to sell the album to strangers “yo you like hip hop??” Was the beginning of the sales pitch.”

The rapper said he’s regained the “desire” to capture “that feeling again” and announced the Trunk Sale Tour ‘26, where he’ll be selling copies of his new LP.

“I don’t know where we bout to drive to, but catch me outside! Cop a CD from me or just show love. I truly appreciate all the love and the reaction to the music,” he concluded.

Cole’s diehard fans are sure to pull up, with one of his most loyal being Tyree Dickerson, who moved from Illinois to North Carolina one year after attending Dreamville Festival. Dickerson also attended a Fall-Off listening party this weekend, driving from Raleigh to Fayetteville, which he told CBS 17.

“I just listened to it. I’m just excited to be here. I wanted to see where he grew up, his area, his stomping grounds,” he told the outlet.
