Let the games begin.
Popular streamer iShowSpeed is drumming up hype for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a new song dedicated to the international football tournament.
Ahead of the sports event, which will consist of 104 matches across 16 host cities from June 11 to July 19, on Monday (June 1), Speed released track “World Cup (Championship).” On the song, the 21-year-old shouts out a majority of the 48 teams participating in the World Cup and motivates listeners to put their “flags up in the air” in preparation for the tournament.
“We rise to the end, We gotta dream ‘til we-dream till we win/ Give me the cup, the championship, Told ‘em I'm bringing it back to the crib,” Speed raps in the song’s second verse.
“World Cup (Champions)” comes 3 years after Speed released his previous football anthem in honor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Known for his international travel streams, his most recent being a tour of the Caribbean, Speed has announced plans to travel the United States during the World Cup. Host cities in the U.S. include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle and more before the games conclude at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
