Halle Bailey and DDG celebrated the first birthday of their son, Halo, Cocomelon style.
On Sunday (Dec. 22) and Monday (Dec. 23), the couple shared throwback candids and new images of their baby for his birthday milestone. One photoset that DDG posted on X showed his son being held by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott and a person dressed as Jason Voorhees (supposedly Ye), all while Halo slept soundly. DDG even surprised Halo with an adult-sized red Ferrari.
The parents also captured adorable pictures with Halo for his birthday while holding a birthday party complete with 'Halomelon' decorations and t-shirts. One shot from Bailey's Instagram carousel shows a birthday cake with a topper that has Halo's likeness. "Happy birthday to my halo 🥹God gave me the greatest gift in you 💕" the actress-singer captioned the post. "time flies when you’re having fun & mommy just can’t believe that you’re one 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥹🥹🥹🥹"
The party comes a little over a month after Bailey publicly expressed frustration that DDG brought Halo onto Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2 livestream before The Little Mermaid star apologized. But DDG would defend his ex-girlfriend from criticism about her reaction, telling those on social media to "leave Halle alone."
Bailey and DDG split in October after a little over two years of dating. In an interview with E! News, Bailey shared that "self-love" was important in her new chapter of being a single mother.
"My son, for example, I want to make sure I'm fully there for him. I think it's really essential to our self-worth," she told the outlet.
