GloRilla says she's going to release a fully R&B-oriented album in the future.

On Wednesday, the Memphis rapper tweeted that she "will be doing [an] rnb album," although she didn't specify if it would be the follow-up to her 2024 debut, Glorious.

The "Typa" artist is accustomed to collaborating with R&B musicians, having connected with Kehlani ("Xmas Time"), T-Pain ("I Luv Her"), and FLO ("In My Bag"). Although a gospel song, GloRilla's 2024 collaboration with Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, Kierra Sheard and Chandler Moore, titled "Rain Down On Me," won the rapper her first BET Award this year in the Best Inspirational Award category.

"I have a lot of good mursic, but I want it to be perfected to where I want it," Glo recently told XXL about her second album, slated to release next year. "That's why I gave this year a rest...to get all the way in the mode."

Earlier this month, GloRilla was nominated for three 2026 Grammys in the categories of Best Rap Album (Glorious), Best Rap Song ("TGIF") and Best Rap Song for "Sticky," her collaboration with Tyler, the Creator, Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne. Watch if Glo takes home the gold when the 68th Annual Grammy Awards airs on February 1, 2026 live from the Crypto.com Arena.
