"Panda" rapper Desiigner now lives the life of a father.
On Monday (March 31), the Brooklyn rapper announced in an Instagram post that he and his partner, Joyce Bryant, welcomed a baby boy. The baby news was first shared last November, when a clip showed the couple celebrating with a gender reveal cake among family and friends.
Fatherhood makes a positive turnaround in Desiigner's life, as the former G.O.O.D. Music artist was arrested in April 2023 and charged with indecent exposure for masturbating on a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis. Desiigner would later explain himself on an episode of No Jumper, claiming that the incident happened because he was vegan at the time.
"I didn’t know what I was doing," he said in the clip below. "I was fully tweaked out of my mind. This was when I was vegan; I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that... I was kind of, like, out of my body."
"It really wasn't who my character was," he continued. "I was on medication and just went to sleep on the plane."
Although Desiigner was not required to register as a sex offender, he was fined $5,000 and placed on probation for two years.
