Courtney Williams wasn't feeling the vibe that Diplo curated during his WNBA All-Star Weekend set.
During Sports Illustrated’s All-Star After-Party on Saturday (July 19), the Minnesota Lynx guard approached the producer during his set and requested that he play rap, instead of the dance music he was spinning.
"Alright, man. Turn us up, goddammit," Williams tells Diplo below. "Play some hip-hop."
After making the request, Williams played along by dancing to Diplo's set while holding drinks in her hands.
The moment went down on during Williams' Studz Budz stream with fellow Lynx player Natisha Hiedeman. Diplo accepted Williams' request, with the teammates calling him "cold." She also made an appearance in his Instagram Stories while vibing to the DJ Snake, Major Lazer, and MØ track "Lean On."
The Studz Budz Twitch stream took over All-Star weekend, with nearly 15,000 viewers streaming the duo while they were in Indianapolis.
"It really started off as two friends, we knew about Twitch, and said, 'Let’s just start streaming,'" Hiedeman told USA TODAY Studio IX. "It’s a platform that’s unique, that really no one in the W has touched, so we was like, 'Let’s be the first ones."
