Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura has lawyered up, preparing to head to court against a former escort who participated in freak offs with her and Diddy.

Former sex worker Clayton Howard has named Ventura and the Bad Boy Entertainment founder in a civil lawsuit, accusing them of subjecting him to humiliation and an STD, along with claiming that the "Me & U" singer aborted their child.

Howard appeared in the new Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, where he recounted being flown out to participate in days-long sex parties with the former couple. The former escort also claimed that he was a witness to Diddy assaulting Ventura.

For Howard's suit, Cassie was unable to be properly served through her physical address or lawyer, but Howard was permitted by a judge to serve her through "alternative means." If Ventura continued being non-responsive, there could have been a likelihood of a $20 million default judgment. In a notice filed on Thursday (Dec. 11), attorney Melodie Han of Wigdor LLP confirmed that she will be representing Ventura in the case, but didn't address Howard's complaint. Another attorney for that firm, Douglas Wigdor, has recently represented Cassie in other Diddy-related matters.

Ventura and Diddy were in a relationship for eleven years, ending in 2018, five years before she sued the music executive, claiming sexual assault, abuse and sex trafficking. The vocalist also testified in Diddy's racketeering and sex trafficking trial, which concluded with him being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper and producer was sentenced to 50 months' imprisonment in October.
