Blueface Apologizes to Man He Shot: 'I Didn’t Mean To, Bro... Forgive Me'

The rapper shot the victim in 2023 during a Las Vegas trip, therefore violating his probation and landing in prison for fourteen months.

While on a livestream with DDG post-prison, Blueface extended a "true apology" to the man that he shot during a Las Vegas trip in 2023.

After spending fourteen months in prison on a four-year sentence for violating his probation, the rapper and reality television star confirmed on Monday (Nov. 3) that he was released. Fresh out of prison, Blueface headed to the recording studio to stream with DDG, and around the 8:30-mark of the video below, he shared how he regretted the incident.

"I could have just had my ass in the house. I didn't have to go to the club that night, put my hands on that man, shoot him," Blueface told DDG. "I didn't have to shoot that man, [I could have] been at home."

"I'm sorry, brother. I didn't mean to shoot you, bro," Blueface continued while looking directly into the camera. "If you seeing this, forgive me, man. This is true apology."

The artist also detailed how much he changed his life for the better while in prison, as he took classes, and also shared how much weight he gained by overloading on carbs.

"I'm eating til' I throw up. But I was eating mashed potatoes and oatmeal," Blueface told DDG, adding that there was practically "no protein" in prison.

In October 2022, the rapper was charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Las Vegas strip club, Euphoric Gentleman’s Club. A bullet grazed the victim, Kentavious Traylor, in his left hand as he attempted to drive away from the venue, with Blueface and his entourage following behind.

Blueface's charges were reduced to battery and firing a gun at or into a building that was occupied. The rapper accepted a plea deal in the case and was given a three-year probationary period, with a two-to five-year prison sentence suspended if he fulfilled the conditions of his release. Additionally, Blueface was ordered to pay the strip club $13 million in damages.

Last month, the Las Vegas Strip lifted their ban against Blueface to allow the rapper to visit for work purposes.
