Birdman and Toni Braxton reportedly got married last August.
According to TMZ, the couple nearly split two weeks after the nuptials, as the seven-time Grammy winner filed for divorce. Documents obtained by the outlet revealed that Braxton and Birdman, real name Bryan Williams, wed on Aug. 8, 2024. But in Braxton's divorce filing, their separation date is listed as August 10, just two days later, with the singer and her attorney writing that the marriage was "irretrievably broken."
But the spouses have since reconciled, with the divorce petition being dismissed in January, which Birdman agreed to. In December 2023, Braxton denied that she and the Cash Money Records co-founder were married, calling him her "dear friend."
In a 2018 report from Vibe, the outlet shared that Braxton posted pictures to Instagram from the day that Birdman proposed to her. The couple reportedly got engaged in 2017. But the relationship has seen a series of complications despite Birdman and Braxton publicly claiming each other. The rapper and music mogul has even had brief appearances on Braxton's reality show, The Braxton Family Values, and in one episode, was interrogated by the singer's late sister, Traci.
In 2018, Birdman was a guest on The Wendy Williams Show, where he explained around the three-minute mark that he and Braxton weren't married "as of yet" and that it was "hard to accept love" from women in her family.
