Adam22 Says 'No Jumper' Is Broke, Announces Layoffs

A former 'No Jumper' employee is suing Adam22 for workplace misconduct.

The future of the No Jumper podcast is hanging in the balance amid structural changes.

On Wednesday, the podcast's founder, Adam22, announced that the company will be undergoing layoffs roughly five years after No Jumper saw a massive jump in YouTube viewership and social media following.

In the video above, Adam22, real name Adam Grandmaison, recounted "two major Ls" that the company experienced in the past few months.

"First we lost the No Jumper Instagram," Adam said around the 1:35 mark of the video above. "After almost 10 years of building it up and essentially no strikes on our account we got taken down one day and we still have absolutely no idea why."

As a solution, Adam has laid off multiple employees and closed the No Jumper store in Los Angeles. The podcast's crew will also be downsizing by selling their warehouse and relocating to a smaller workspace.

"To be honest, aside from the lay-offs, I’m pretty happy about all those changes," Adam confessed. "I’ve realized that I should have paid more attention to DJ Vlad and kept my overhead as low as possible, particularly in terms of staff and location. I’m confident that once we get the building sold, we will be in a pretty solid financial position again as a business."

Adam then spoke of the legal action against No Jumper by former employee Yuriy, who alleges workplace misconduct. Adam called the lawsuit an "extortion attempt" that will cost the company "hundreds of thousands of dollars" to see through.

"It's insane to me that a person that we did so much for can just invent some grievances out of thin air and cost us this much money," Adam said. "As a result, this person has literally lost every single friend that he used to have when he worked at No Jumper."

He continued, "His streaming career has completely tanked and he even got kicked off the podcast that he left No Jumper to start. But somehow, that's our reality, and we have to fight this rather than just give in to this piece of shit."

In January, Adam addressed the lawsuit, which at the time also involved former No Jumper employee Rylee Garcia. In addition to misconduct, the two alleged wrongful termination, and Garcia also accused No Jumper of sexual harassment.

In the video above, Adam denied the claims, saying that the podcast crew "went massively out of our way to make [Garcia] feel comfortable."
