50 Cent Jokes That Brandy Had 'Upset' Stomach After Abrupt Stage Walk-Off

The rapper and media mogul put forth an alternative theory about why Brandy exited the stage during a Chicago tour stop.

50 Cent made light of vocalist Brandy abruptly leaving the stage during a recent Chicago tour stop.

On Saturday (October 18), the Grammy winner exited the stage while performing at the United Center during the third night of her The Boy Is Mine Tour with Monica. Although Brandy would later provide an explanation in a statement, Fifty wasn't buying it and alleged that she was having intestinal issues in an Instagram post on Monday (October 20).

"She just walked off the stage," the rapper and media tycoon wrote next to a video of Brandy's performance. "Ain't nothing wrong with that mic. She said my stomach upset, gotta go sh!t good night ! LOL"

In a statement, Brandy shared that she had experienced "dehydration and feelings of wanting to faint" during the Chicago show.

"I still made the decision to try and return and give it my all despite not feeling okay," she continued. "With having to make some adjustments and the show being very technical, unfortunately, it was impossible to fully connect sonically with the production."

The Boy Is Mine Tour, which includes openers Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, Jamal Roberts and Coco Jones on select dates, continued with an Indianapolis concert on Sunday (October 19) and will have 28 more dates. The tour returns to Chicago next Sunday (October 25), where Brandy and Monica will hopefully close out the show with their 1998 hit "The Boy Is Mine."

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
