4batz called Ye, formerly Kanye West, a "genius" during a recent sit-down with Billboard.
The artists linked up on the remix to "act iii: on god? (she like)" from 4batz's debut mixtape, U Made Me a St4r, and the Dallas act still sings Ye's praises.
The collaboration was brought up around the 11-minute mark of the video above, leading 4batz to call him the "smartest person" he's ever met and a "genius."
The rapper tried to recall the first time they met until the video of them recording in a warehouse was referenced. "While he was in the studio with me, he was kind of giving people directions about clothes and stuff. Like, it was just the craziest thing," he said.
"So shout out Ye," he continued. "He's probably one of the most humblest persons I ever met. He drove me two hours to Santa Barbara. It was just me, [Ye's wife] Bianca Censori ... I was just like, 'Huh? ... I'm really in the car with Kanye West.'"
While riding in the Tesla Cybertruck, 4batz also said Ye was recording him while playing Vultures.
"I was in the back seat he was playing his music he was like, 'I got this Vultures. I'm finna come out with it, I just want you to hear it.' He started playing it. I'm like, 'Okay. Oh, I like this.'"
This made Ye take out his phone to capture the singer's reaction, nearly causing 4batz to fan out.
"I don't want to like come off like too famous," he continued. "I'm trying to be cool, but he just showed that like he don't care about nothing. He don't care who you are, he's an honest person. He never lies."
Although 4batz didn't specify if the album was Vultures 1 or 2, both albums debuted on the top five of the Billboard 200 during their releases in February and August, respectively.
