In a recent stream with DuB, Karrahbooo didn't mince her words when asked about DJ Akademiks.
When the streamer pressed Karrahbooo on why she has a distaste for the hip-hop podcaster, she pointed to his integrity.
"Because he doesn't say anything accurate...and I personally know these people that he talks about and the stories — I know really what happened — he is almost never right," Karrahbooo said.
"I know. I'm in this shit. I'm friends with these people. Like, that n***a don't be having the answers. He don't even be close," she continued. "It's kind of like, funny and like also cringey because...you really think it's that and you're so wrong. You're misinforming all these people, and now all these people are going against somebody."
DuB, assuming she was speaking about herself, assured her that no one was against her. Karrahbooo clarified she wasn't speaking personally, saying, "I've seen him attack people...I feel like if you gon' cover a story, make sure you know the fucking facts or don't fucking say shit."
DuB tried to push back, telling the rapper, "I think people forget that other people got opinions." Karrahbooo fired back, saying, "Opinions are fine. But when you're saying something is something and it's not, that's not okay with me."
Akademiks, who got his start making videos about hip-hop with a focus on the Chicago drill scene, has become a polarizing figure for his aggressive, sometimes sensationalized approach to reporting news in the music industry.
Elsewhere in the stream, Karrahbooo made headlines after claiming she's in a difficult financial situation and depends on streaming to make ends meet.
"Listen, I'm in a 720 deal. The only way I can get money since I can't release music is through Twitch. Sub up if you want to help me," she said.
"If you know me, I'm in a 720 deal, which is a 360 times two, which means it pretty much doesn't end and I can't drop music right now," Karrahboo continued. "So the only way I can really get money right is if I sell pussy or do Twitch, and so I'ma just do Twitch. So like, if you want to help me and my three kids and my uncle and my uncle's wife and just help me, then sub up. Thank you."
