J Balvin pulled out all the stops for his return to Medellin, marked by a massive concert.
On Nov. 29, Balvin threw a massive concert in Colombia at Estadio Atanasio Girardot that combined his music with immersive experiences for fans to enjoy.
The production was taken to the next level, featuring a 360-degree stage that saw a stacked list of special guests, including Daddy Yankee, 50 Cent, Ryan Castro, Yandel, Tito El Bambino, Lennox, DJ Snake, Farruko, Chencho, Feid, Maluma, and many more.
Balvin’s return also saw a positive effect on the city, including a spike in flight searches and tourism. Local vendors were selected to participate in the early festivities. Local workers were selected to set up the amenities, and Balvin’s dancers were primarily Colombian. Even the Medellin Metro joined in the festivities with custom visuals and expanded service to accommodate the occasion.
Balvin also unveiled his latest capsule Beyond Flowers: Ciudad Primavera in collaboration with Colombian leather brand Véle.
The superstar is set to execute a performance on a similar scale in Bogotá on Dec. 13 at Estadio El Campín.
