Loop Earplugs Helped Turn My Coachella Weekend 1 Into a Music Oasis

Loop Earplugs returned to Coachella for the second year in a row, and took us along to experience the festival in a new way.

For the first time in my decade-long music festival-going career, it didn’t feel like a sensory overload being in a massive crowd while speakers were blasting—all thanks to finally having the right earplugs.

I was at week one of Coachella 2026—my second time at the festival. I also attended last year, where I was grossly underprepared for such a massive live event. Coincidentally, Loop Earplugs was also returning to Coachella for the second year in a row as the festival's official earplug partner. And with their return, Loop brought back two limited-edition items that sold out in 2025: the Loop x Coachella Experience earplugs and the Loop x Coachella Link connector cord.

Coachella Weekend one—appropriately dubbed “Bieberchella” because of Justin Bieber’s heavily anticipated headlining performance—was easily one of the most hyped music events of the year.

Bieber, along with fellow headliners Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G, drew in a staggering 125,000 attendees across the entire weekend. While we bunkered down and waited to watch the 32-year-old pop star's set on Saturday night, the main stage was flooded with people.

I used to be apprehensive about wearing earplugs at concerts. Despite the pummeling my eardrums would take, I didn’t want my experience to be seemingly dulled by potentially not being able to hear the music fully. This was a rookie mentality. As Loop co-founder Maarten Bodewes put it, “People don’t come to Coachella to hang back. Loop lets fans stay right up front for hours, close to the speakers, without worrying about their hearing.”

I was on my last leg waiting to watch Bieber perform, but thanks to the Loop Experience 2’s and their link connector cord, I was able to enjoy his performance without feeling overwhelmed by the massive crowd surrounding me and the blaring music from the main stage.

Even in the heart of the madness, Bieber’s angelic vocals carried through and I was able to experience the concert in a whole new way.

And funny enough, after never wearing earplugs at live music events, I found myself popping in my Loop Experience 2s throughout Coachella Weekend one. And it was the first time I went home later that day without my ears ringing. It was a unique experience to simultaneously have the volume reduced during these sets, but still be able to hear the artist as clear as day. And life-sized versions of the earplugs were riding around in bike form across the festival grounds to deliver the Loop experience to festival goers as well.

After wearing the new Loop Experience 2 earplugs throughout Coachella, I quickly realized that my experience was actually heightened by now being able to enjoy performances without having to worry about my ear health afterwards.

The blue-orange gradient finish inspired by Coachella’s desert surroundings even went with my festival fit. All-in-all, Loop helped turn the harsh desert terrain of Coachella into my true music festival oasis, and there’s no turning back from here.
